Full Proposal
T6 - Scots Pine. A substantial, mature sized, but poor specimen scots pine, in very close proximity to the right side of the property. Given its condition the tree has low amenity value and for the majority of the year is significantly obscured from public view by several very large beech trees. The tree's canopy has low density which suggests it may be declining in health. Several large branches have dropped this year, and are now in contact with the property's roof. Given the tree's mature height, ongoing growth and proximity to the property, if left these branches are at extremely high risk of causing damage to the roof. Should they drop further, or fall due to any storm instability, the damage to property would be significant and extensive. (Amended) Having sought advice on the matter, this application is to raise the existing canopy, removing the lower branches as required, to obtain suitable clearance from the property and the neighbouring car-port; up to 3m.
