SIDE: 0087 ? ONE Paper Bark Birch (ht.5m) CROWN LIFT to 2.5m above ground level. Reason: to provide clearance over path and clear lamp column by 1m. FRONT: 0088 - Cotoneaster (ht.4m) FELL. Reason: near sitting area, moderate established lean with torsion twist in stem, cambium damage on underside of stem lean at 1m continuing with dieback, low crown with fractures at unions. Informative A: replacement tree planting is encouraged to avoid gradual degradation of tree numbers to maintain the treed character amenity and setting of the flats and adjacent open space. Informative B: thank you for retaining and maintaining the trees around the flats for amenity, wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change. Informative C: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
