REAR: ONE dead Pear (T1)(approx.ht.10-12m) MONOLITH to 3m standing stem.Reason: the tree has died, reduce to standing stem height 3m for wildlife habitat, large cavity through the stem, less than 30% holding wood, health & safety, a replacement pear will be planted under duty to replace. Previous 6-wk notice: DC/23/133409.Informative A: the landowner has a duty to plant another tree of an appropriate size and species when a tree is removed in a conservation area because it is dead or presents an immediate risk of serious harm. Ref. Tree Preservation Orders and trees in conservation areas, guidance, para 121.Informative B: for the offered replacement pear tree suggest common pear (Pyrus communis) for rear amenity, early season flowers for pollinators, wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change. Informative C: huge thank you for retaining 3m height stem monolith for habitat and biodiversity. Informative D: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
