The London Borough of Lewisham (Land at the rear of Rayford Avenue and St Mildreds Road London SE12) Tree Preservation Order 2012. Informative A: replacement tree planting is required as close as possible to the original locations, as emailed to the agent 8 March 2024 for: 1x cherry (Prunus avium), 1x Elder (Sambucus nigra), and the group of 6 sycamore to be replaced with a group of mixed species: 2x sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus), 1x Elm (Dutch elm disease resistant cultivar), 1x willow (Salix caprea), 1x hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), 1x Oak (Quercus robur or Q, petraea). Informative B: with Sooty Bark Disease becoming more prevalent with hotter drier summers, and causing the death most notably of sycamore, suitable alternatives to sycamore would be field maple (Acer campestre), small leaved lime (Tilia cordata), hornbeam (Carpinus betulus), wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis). Informative C: this decision notice will also be sent to the landowner.
