Full Proposal
REAR: ONE Plum (T1)(ht. approx. 5m) FELL. Reason: significant ivy infestation with two established vines comparable in diameter to the host trunk, causing structural lean and loss of vertical growth habit; poor amenity value. Replacement planting of two mature trees proposed.Informative A: huge thank you for planting two replacement trees for amenity, wildlife and to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change, suggested species such as elder, crab apple, quince (Cydonia oblonga), pear, hawthorn, goat or grey willow, hazel, Harlequin Glorybower (Clerodendrum trichotomum), Cornus controversa, alder buckthorn. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings and if possible retain safe standing stem with ivy stems for wildlife habitat and biodiversity.
