Full Proposal
REAR: ONE Lime (T1)(approx.ht.18m) POLLARD to ht.12m. Reason: health & safety, extensive decay cavity in main leader. REAR: ONE Lime (T2)(approx.ht.18m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by approx.5-6m to ht.12-13m, LATERAL REDUCE by up to 5m, maintaining natural shape where possible. Reason: extensive decay at branch fork. The very urgent works are planned for 3 August 2026. Stems of T1 & T2 originate from same rootball, on raised ground boundary adjacent to no.3 Purelake Mews to the rear (off Marischal Road), decay issues hidden by extensive ivy growth, and discovered when crown lift undertaken re 6-wk notice DC/26/144402. Informative A: huge thank you for retaining the trees for rear amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, rainwater run-off mitigation and shade to reduce increasingly high and frequent heatwaves due to climate change. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
