Application to top an evergreen tree by 20 feet, prune an ash tree to reduce its branch span and height, and prune a birch tree to reduce overhang and remove shaded branches.
Proposal as recorded
1. Evergreen tree - proposed to top by 20 feet. 2. Ash - proposed pruning. 3. Birch - proposed pruning. The ash tree is adjacent to the neighbouring boundary fence and is now out of proportion in terms of its branch span, height and overhang of both lawns, where it restricts light. It has been pruned before ( with permission) and we are reapplying to enable the tree to be pruned back to proportions commensurate with both gardens. The birch tree is decorative and provides a unique feature in the centre of the rear garden. However it requires pruning to prevent extensive overhang of the lawn and the blocking of light into the garden. We are looking to reduce the overhang and remove shaded branches. HAR/CA14.
