Full Proposal
We have recently acquired this property. We have noticed that there is a large tree to the side of the house which does not look to have been maintained, together with a hedge row of conifers which have been required to grow alongside the boundary wall with Mersey Road.In respect of the large tree, you will see from the pictures that it has been allowed to grow to a height where it is impacting the cables coming into the house and we are concerned about its impact on the house and/or the boundary wall.In relation to the hedge row of conifers, we had a full structural survey of the property carried out before acquiring the property, which highlighted these as a concern (again, they do not look to have been maintained and/or trimmed for some time). We are happy to share a copy of that report but what it stated is "To the left hand side of the property, there is a continuous line of trees which have pushed the small height garden outwards causing a tilt. Should the trees continue to grow in the future, it is possible that the wall may become damaged to the point where a take down and rebuild may be necessary".What we wanted to do, was to have a specialist to come in and look at lowering the height of the main tree by the side of house, and then look at the conifers as well. The conifers have been allowed to grow to a height where they actually looking to be dying due to the amount of moisture they must have been consuming. HAR/CA14.
