Plan to leave the largest dead Sycamore as a habitat pole and fully dismantle another Sycamore in ill health, grind the stump, and replant with a suitable species due to road proximity and pedestrian safety.

Proposal as recorded

T1 Largest Sycamore that has died. Tried to come into leaf this spring but gave up in early June. T1 will be monolith and left as a habitat pole for ivy, insects, and birds. T2 Large Sycamore in ill health due to rot pocket 15ft up the stem at first major union. T2 will be a full dismantle, stump grind and replant of appropriate species. Perhaps a eucalyptus or something native that can handle shading from larger mature trees. Silver birch or field maple perhaps. Both Trees need dismantling due to proximity of the road and to protect pedestrian safety.
