Full Proposal
T2 Poplar - Remove the lowest limb that has previously been pruned on the east side, remove deadwood greater than 25mm in diameter. The proposed works relate to a mature Poplar Tree and involve the removal of the lowest eastern limb which is dead and has been previously pruned. As it no longer contributes to the health or amenity value of the tree, it's removal is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve public safety. In addition the removal of deadwood greater than 25mm is proposed as routine arboricultural maintenance to minimise the likelihood of falling branches while retaining smaller deadwood where appropriate to provide habitat value for wildlife. The proposed works are limited in scope and represent good arboricultural practice, they are not expected to adversely affect the long term health, structural integrity or visual amenity provided by the tree (Shere Cons)
