Tree works are proposed to a protected maple tree, including a light crown lift of approximately two metres and a reduction in lateral spread by up to one metre.

Please refer to plan no: 2015.001 - T4 Maple tree for position reference + identification informationWe wish to request permission for a professional tree surgeon to create a light crown lift of approx 2 metres removing a small number of secondary branches to maintain a balanced canopy + ground level clearance + selectively reduce lateral spread by no more than 1 metre to retain existing framework whilst reducing footpath overhang + promoting trees' existing form.The intention is to retain trees' natural character + encourage new healthy growth.
