Tree works are proposed at Lothian Wood in Tadworth, including crown lifting and lateral reduction of two horse chestnut trees, the felling of a Norway maple and a sycamore, and the re-coppicing of hazel trees.

Horse Chestnut no. 1 - Crown lift S canopy extent overhanging lawn to 4m above ground level, leaving wounds no greater than 100mm; lateral reduction of S canopy extent by up to 3.5m from trunk, leaving wounds no greater than 100mm. Horse chestnut no. 73 - Crown lift S canopy extent overhanging lawn to 3.5m above ground level, leaving wounds no greater than 100mm; lateral reduction of S canopy extent by up to 4m from trunk leaving wounds no greater than 100mm. Norway maple no. 74 - Fell to near ground level. Sycamore G2 - Fell to near ground level. Hazel G3 - Re-coppice approximately x10 individual hazels growing throughout woodland
