Crown lifting and reduction works are proposed for two birch trees to improve clearance over the footway and reduce wind load.

Birch (T1) URN 16244 - Crown lift secondary and tertiary branches to 3m from ground level Birch (T2) URN 16243 - Crown lift secondary and tertiary branches to 3m from ground level, to allow for sufficient clearance over footway, Crown reduce to a retained lateral spread of 6m North, South and West facing crown and 5m East facing crown, to reduce lever-arm loading of end-weighted branches and to reduce wind load.
