REAR: TWO dead Sycamore (T1,T2)(ht.15m) FELL. Reason: health & safety, both have died due to sooty bark disease, close to path/driveway. Duty to replace applies ? replacement species to be 1x Sorbus torminalis and 1x Koelreuteria paniculata planted as close to original locations as possible. NB. Tree replacements are also required to comply with planning consent ref. DC/20/118980, FUL: DC/24/136122, AoD, conditions 7a, 8 - Soft Landscape Plan 359/01C - trees are shown retained in Coach House Landscaping Plan and DC/24/137138, AoD, condition 5 - retained in the Tree Protection Plan Rev B (TPP). Tree notice history: DC/24/137988 (6-wk notice) & DC/25/138804 (6-wk notice). Informative A: Duty to replace - the landowner has a duty to plant another tree of an appropriate size and species when a tree is removed in a conservation area because it is dead or presents an immediate risk of serious harm. Ref. Tree Preservation Orders and trees in conservation areas guidance, para 121; section 213 of Town & Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) and for wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change.
