Plan to fell a T49 Sycamore tree with a double union from the bottom, leaning heavily over the sports field. The tree is under pressure from ivy and has roots in a nearby stream. The area will be cordoned off, and the tree will be safely felled to ground level with timber and brash disposed of. This will allow other saplings in the woodblock to prosper.
