Application to lower the crown of a horse chestnut tree at the rear of the garden by 8 metres to improve light and rain access.

Proposal as recorded

Application to lower the crown of rear tree. The tree is a horse chestnut. It has had its crown lowered at least twice before, once before we purchased the house in 1999 and once by us over 20 years ago. The tree is at the far end of the garden and is now of a height to block out light and rain from the garden. We are aiming to again lower the crown of the tree by 8 metres to improve light and rain in the garden. The tree is directly next to the wall of Leylandiis recently lowered in height at the rear of 23, Broomfield Road. HAR/CA15, TPO 19N.
