Proposal as recorded
T10 - Beech Tree -Crown reduction and reshaping by 25% to manage the overall size of the tree and reduce nuisance caused to adjacent properties. -Removal of overhanging branches up to the property boundary line to address safety and maintenance concerns. Justification for works: -The tree significantly restricts light to 1 Masefield Drive and its garden due to excessive shading, impacting the enjoyment of the property. -Fallen leaves from the tree cause regular blockages to gutters and require frequent cleaning, which incurs costs for the applicant. -The tree overhangs the highway and pavement along Masefield Drive, with branches falling into the road, posing a health and safety risk to road and pedestrian users. This will help mitigate the ongoing maintenance burden and safety risks posed by the tree's current condition. TPO 365W.
