Retrospective application for the removal of two Sycamore trees due to severe dieback and safety concerns at a children's day nursery.
Proposal as recorded
Retrospective T1 Sycamore - On inspection, the entire top half of the tree was showing severe dieback and the tree was largely dead wood. Because of its location in the grounds of children's a day nursery we decided to remove the tree straight away (11th January 2025) and submit a 5 day retrospective application, for notification. T2 Sycamore - The adjacent tree was also suffering with severe die back, we estimated over 50% of the top of this tree was deadwood and upon aerial inspection, the tree proved to be dangerous with many large dead branches over hanging the nursery. We also removed this tree as we decided to posed a danger.
