Plan to reduce limbs of a Maple tree opposite the Old Bar due to a crack forming, and to fell a Chestnut tree in St George's Field, a Maple tree outside Botany House, and an Ash tree at 28 Springfield Mount, with replacement for the Ash.
Proposal as recorded
T1497 Opposite the Old Bar Maple (TPO1992_011): Union 5m has failed with the wound facing away from the public space. There now appears to be a crack forming between the two remaining limbs which overhang the footpath. Reduce limbs to below union. Remaining 0.5m of the stem should be retained to prevent a large pruning wound close to the main union bowl. T1973 St George's Field Chestnut (CA No 39): Fell T1976 Outside Botany House Maple (CA No 39): Fell T511 28 Springfield Mount Ash (CA No 39): Fell and replace.
