Application to address safety concerns regarding a Sycamore tree in the back garden of 1 Eton Close, which has suffered damage from high winds in April 2026. The tree is part of Tree Preservation Order No 45 1970.

Proposal as recorded

A tree in the back garden of 1 Eton Close. A large branch already fallen off onto the ground and another large branch partially snapped but hanging off a high point in the tree. It is the latter that is of concern it could fall at any point and cause damage to anyone who happened to be in the garden and/or to the fence or house. Tree suffered this damage in high winds in early April 2026 - "Storm Dave." The tree is a Sycamore tree but it is not even specifically identified in the Tree Preservation Order No 45 1970; rather it forms part of the area tilted "A1" and described as "the several tree of whatever species standing in the area number A.1 on the map."
