Plan to remove one fir tree due to its proximity to a boundary fence and potential risk of damage. Also, perform crown lifting and selective pruning on a row of firs to maintain clearance from adjacent property.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Fir - Fell, The tree is situated in very close proximity to the boundary fence and provides minimal amenity value. Its continued growth poses a risk of future damage to the fence and nearby property. Removal is therefore recommended to prevent structural impact and to allow appropriate space for boundary maintenance. G1 Row of Firs - Carry out a crown lift and selective pruning to achieve approximately 2-3 metres clearance from the adjacent property. These works are required to prevent encroachment, reduce the risk of branch contact with the building, and maintain safe and appropriate clearance while retaining the overall screening value of the group.
