Application to reduce the height of a Silver Birch tree by 2 metres for safety and to prevent damage to neighbouring garages. Includes thinning, removal of dead wood, and trimming 20% of branches to maintain shape and reduce wind resistance.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Silver Birch - A reduction of height by 2 metres to improve safety and prevent potential damage from falling branches to neighbouring garages. Thinning and removal of dead wood branches to enhance the tree's health, allowing more light and air to reach the healthier branches, thus promoting growth and reducing disease risk. Trimming of 20% of the branches to maintain the trees shape and reduce wind resistance, which can cause structural stress during adverse weather conditions. According to a qualified tree surgeon, there is significant tearing and a considerable amount of dead wood present.
