Plan to remove a large mature Rowan tree and a very small Holly and Hawthorn tree. Reduce and reshape Hollies behind the shed by approximately 3m, prune back horizontal Oak branches over the rear fence by approximately 3m, and re-reduce an Oak tree to the top of the stem by approximately 6m. No replacements due to lack of space and large tree population.
Proposal as recorded
T1 large mature Rowan - Remove, tree multi stemmed at the base. Due to the formation, stem movement has caused extensive damage around the base allowing progressive rot. T2, T3 and T4 Hollies - Reduce and reshape trees behind the shed by *3m max, remaining *3m height. G1 x1 oak - Prune back horizontal Oak branches extending over the rear fence by *3m max remaining *3m. T5 Holly - Remove very small tree up against the fence in the top left corner. T6 Hawthorn - Remove very small tree on the middle level. T7 Oak - Re reduce tree to the top of stem. Removing *6m, remaining *2.5m stem. An historical pollard has resulting in a hollow void and rot down the top of stem which may be unable to provide structural support to a larger canopy. Risk is increased due to close proximity of the house. * Approximately Not replace removals due to lack of suitable space and large population of trees present. They are not visible nor valuable to the surrounding area.
