Application to sever ivy on T3 Oak for trunk assessment, lift thorn and cherry over driveway to 5m, reduce oaks by 2m for clearance, and remove low branch on T5 Oak to prevent overload and maintain distance from flats.
Proposal as recorded
T3 Oak, Wood side Sever the ivy on this tree to allow visual assessment of the trunk at a later date. A4 Mix, Drive side Over the entrance driveway lift the thorn and cherry to clear the drive by 5m vertically, reduce back the oaks extending furthest towards the flats by up to 2m to maintain a reasonable clearance. T5 Oak, Drive side Remove the long horizontal lowest branch that extends towards the flats over the drive. The removal of the long low lateral branch and trimming back of others is to maintain a reasonable distance between tree canopy and the flats and to prevent the low branch becoming even more extended as it races to reach the light, the chance of branch overload and snap are removed.
