Application to reduce the canopy of a multi-stemmed Ash tree by approximately 8m due to ash dieback, and to perform a 2m lateral reduction on the eastern aspect of a London Plane tree to provide light and space for a younger Oak tree.
Proposal as recorded
A1 Multi-stemmed Ash - We would like to reduce the canopy by carrying out a fairly major crown reduction, leaving approx 8m of stem. (effectively a monolith). Tree has contracted ash die back and has 30-40% die back within the canopy. Effectively we are asking to remove the diseased canopy (i.e. approx 8m crown reduction) LP1 London Plane - Reduce some limbs on the tree on the eastern aspect to draw away from younger Oak tree in an attempt to give it light and space. We would like to carry out a 2m lateral reduction on the eastern aspect
