Application to reduce the height of a Western Red Cedar, remove a hanging branch from a Holly, fell a Young Oak, remove a Goat Willow and mixed growth, and manage various trees and shrubs at Sheringham House, Ladybrook Road, Bramhall. Reasons include controlling height, outgrowing location, and squirrel damage.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Western Red Cedar & Cypress group. Reduce the Western Red Cedar to just below the height of the neighbouring Cypress trees. Remove the hanging branch in the neighbouring Holly. Reason: to control overall height due to proximity to property. T2 Young Oak. Fell. Reason: Self seeded tree which is now outgrowing it's location. T3 Goat Willow. Remove Goat Willow and mixed growth located at the rear of the cottage. Clip all other shrubs and young trees at the rear of the garage back to clear the rear of the building by at least 1 m. Reason: Self seeded tree which is now outgrowing it's location. T4 Goat Willow, Holly & Hazel group rear of the garage.Goat Willow overhanging the boundary, reduce to 1.5 m inside the boundary line. Inspect the squirrel damaged fork and reduce limbs as required on this section to reduce weight. Clear the garage roof by 2 m. Holly and Hazel under the Willow, fell to ground level. Reason: Overhanging neighbouring property extensively and it has extensive squirrel damage, neighbour is also planning to building which will create fouling issues. T5 3xLeylandii & Laurels group right of the garage. Fell 3 x Leylandii. Large Laurel reduce in iheight to the trimmed level (approx 4 m from ground level) and prune to clear the garage roof/wall by 0.5m, Laurel at the side of the property reduce the top and sides to tidy. Reasons: Leylandii all poor specimens and outgrowing location. Laurels prune to control size. HAR/CA29, TPO 77W.
