Plan to reduce the height of a Norway Maple tree from 9 meters to 6 meters in a courtyard area. The tree has been pollarded twice before and is close to apartment windows and a mezzanine walkway.

Proposal as recorded

T1 Norway Maple - Reduce in height from 9 meters to 6 meters approximately. The tree is growing within a courtyard area with a carpark below and a mezzanine walkway at around 3 meters high. The tree has been pollarded twice in it's past and the management company would like to pollard it again at the outermost pollard point to maintain it at a suitable height for the courtyard area. The canopy is growing close to the apartment windows and the trunk is around 3cm from the mezzanine area side.
