Plan to fell and remove a mature beech tree situated between 26 and 27 Carrholme Dive due to safety concerns from meripilus brackets.
Proposal as recorded
T1. - Mature beech situated in locked LCC owned path between 26 and 27 Carrholme Dive. There has been an enquiry from the resident at number 27 as the tree had recently dropped a branch into his garden. on inspection I discovered meripilus brackets on 3 sides of the root plate. With the history of mature beech with meripilus failing throughout the city we have no option but to Fell and remove the tree given its location
