The application seeks a Certificate of Lawfulness for the use of the existing dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) as a small House in Multiple Occupation accommodating up to six occupants (Use Class C4). The use falls within Use Class C4 (small HMO) and will involve occupation of the property by up to six individuals sharing facilities such as kitchen, bathroom and living areas. The proposal includes minor internal alterations associated with the reconfiguration of the existing dwelling to facilitate occupation as a six bedroom house in multiple occupation. The works comprise internal layout changes including the erection and removal of internal partition walls to create six bedrooms and shared kitchen and living facilities, together with associated circulation space. Works may also include installation of fire doors and other fire safety measures required to meet relevant building regulation and licensing standards.
