Plan to reduce the crown of an Oak tree by up to 1.5m to clear the building and reshape. Fell a dead tree of unknown species. Remove two Birch trees (T7 and T8) due to space constraints, another Birch (T9) due to its proximity to a boundary fence, and two Cherry trees (T10 and T11) because they are in poor health with dying canopies. Pollard a Yew tree to approximately 3m to help it survive under the canopy of larger trees.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Oak - Reduce crown by up to maximum 1.5m branch length to clear building and reshape. T3 Dead tree (species unknown) - Fell T7 and T8 Birch - Fell both trees. Outgrowing their space. T9 Birch - Fell due to proximity to boundary fence. T10 and T11 Cherry - Fell both trees as they are in very poor health. Dying canopy on both trees. T5 Yew - Pollard to approx 3m. The Young Yew tree has grown under the canopy of the more mature Pine and Lime trees and has grown out towards the pavement / road in search of light. Suggest pollarding to allow it to survive as an understorey tree.
