Application to remove a sycamore tree in the rear garden due to damage to fencing and overhanging branches. The tree is located at the end of the garden of a neighbor at 15 Princes Road, Heaton Moor, and is crowding out other trees. The tree owner agrees to its removal.

Proposal as recorded

We are seeking permission to remove a sycamore tree which has damaged the fencing on our boundary in our rear garden. Heavy branches from the tree are overhanging onto the roof of our shed endangering further damage. The tree is situated at the end of the garden of our neighbour at 15 Princes Road, Heaton Moor who we back onto. We think the tree has grown as a result of seeds dispersing as it was not planted. The sycamore is also crowding out other trees including a hazel tree. The tree owner Michael Dale at 15 Princes Road, is happy for us to have it felled as they will not be affected by its removal and can't even see it from their house and garden. We would like permission to do this before it becomes more of a nuisance. We think its location is within the Mauldeth Road conservation area. A local tree surgeon Jonny Hindle has been to look at it and has advised us that the tree should be removed. HAR/CA21.
