Plan to prune back small branches of two birch trees in the Dartmouth Park Conservation Area to prevent damage to the deck and wooden wall.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Birch and T2 Birch - The trees have been previously pruned back, before the property became part of the Dartmouth Park Conservation Area, when the area was extended last year. The overhanging branches are causing damage to the deck and wooden wall, so we would like to prune them back again. This will be small branches no more than 7.5cm in diameter and the trunks and larger branches will be retained. The tress are about 5m tall and the trunks around 2.5m tall. There are other trees in adjacent properties, that back on to our property. Some of these have TPOs, but are around 20m away and will not be impacted.
