T1 Oak - mature (located in public open space) - Remove epicormic growth on main stems to a height of 7 metres above ground level. Remove Ivy. Reduce crown by 1-2 metres especially over gardens. Lightly thin/remove epicormic growth to allow more light to the properties. The crown has been reduced in the past and now supports some regrowth. Further pruning is required to maintain a relatively small crown reducing its impact on the properties and risk of branch failure.
