Plan to fell and remove to ground level one sycamore and one oak tree at 16 Woodlands Lane due to poor form and leaning habit. Suggest replanting with field maple or similar native broadleaf.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Sycamore - Fell and remove to ground level, trees is growing at the boundary of the woodland and garden of no 16 Woodlands Lane. The tree is ivy covered from the base, some impact damage to the base of main stem, exposed wood in tact but soft in places. tree has leaning habit, growing for light, poor general form. T2 Oak - Fell and remove to ground level, tree growing with severe leaning habit towards the property and garden. grown for light, from banking. There are no visual signs of root plate or ground movement. x1 old wound at base of main stem, part occluded, the tree has poor form , leaves flushing at time of survey but appears sparse, with some dead wood. Would suggest replanting with field maple or similar size native broadleaf would be sensible for the woodland edge.
