Application to crown lift and reduce the canopy of an oak tree (T001) in the north, south, and west directions to specified clearances and reductions, following BS 3998 guidelines.
Proposal as recorded
T001 Oak: Crown lift the canopy extending in a north, south and western direction to provide a clearance of 5m between the existing ground level of the rear garden and the canopy of the tree. Reduce the southern canopy back from 8m to 6m (2m reduction). Reduce the western canopy back from 8m to 5.5m (2.5m reduction). The canopy pruning should be undertaken sympathetically and in line with BS 3998 guidelines. Branches are to be pruned back to a suitable branch junction (leaving no branch stubs) and retaining sufficient foliage to keep the retained branch alive.
