Plan to remove six conifers planted too close to a grade 2 listed retaining wall, causing damage and subsidence. An additional tree from the neighbor's property may also be removed.
Proposal as recorded
Established hedgerow of Conifers which have been historically planted too close to a grade 2 listed retaining wall and as a result damaged it, creating significant subsidence of stone. Trees have been unstable in recent storms with significant damage as a result and branches falling into the road and blocking the pavement. There are six conifers to be removed to prevent further damage to the wall which they border. These will be dropped in sections to allow no disturbance to Gledhow lane. One further tree borders the wall from the neighbours property (east) which would be beneficial but not essential to remove.
