Proposal to renew the boundary with concrete posts and gravel boards for T5 Horse Chestnut and T4 Sweet Chestnut, ensuring protection of tree roots by hand digging holes and lining them with plastic before setting posts with concrete.
Proposal as recorded
T5 Horse Chestnut (T1 on the RPA map) T4 Sweet Chestnut (T2 on the RPA map): We now propose a different method for boundary and retention of higher soil levels. on the boundary line, approx 6 inches south of the higher retaining wall marked on the images in red i propose to renew the boundary with concrete posts and gravel boards to act as a retaining structure with fence panels above the gravel boards. The boundary line is within TPO root area. the fence posts will be situated 1.2 -1.8 metre apart guided by hole excavation and root presence. holes will be hand dug and relocated if large roots over 2.5cm are present. holes will be lined with plastic before post setting with concrete.
