Request to reduce the height of a cherry blossom tree by 40% and laterally by 10% to prevent collapse and protect nearby properties.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Cherry - I am requesting a 50% reduction, reducing the height by 40% and laterally pushing the tree in 10% to T1 (cherry blossom) shown in the picture and sketch map. It is 90-100 feet tall, a soft wood species, that is very exposed and has never been managed. The work is to protect the tree so it didn't collapse under itself or due to high winds, and to protect the properties it is in close proximity to.
