Plan to fell a mature sycamore due to structural weakness, reduce an oak to 5m high, fell a dead elm, and crown lift two sycamores over the highway.
Proposal as recorded
T4 Mature Sycamore - Fell and dismantle tree to ground level and remove arisings The union is currently splitting, indicating a potential structural weakness and increased risk of failure. T5 Oak - Reduce to a 5m high (monolith). Estimated height 22m Estimated width 8 m. Previously failed limb at 6 m. Large scaffold limb over road at 4.5m Unbalanced crown with a bias to the woodland. T6 Elm - Leaning over road. Completely dead, no signs of foliage, bark discoloration, or sap flow. Fell and remove arisings G8 2 x Sycamore - Low canopy extending out over public highway. Crown lift canopy to 5.2 m
