Proposal to cut back the remaining branches of a T1 Hybrid Weeping Willow to 1m from the stem due to structural concerns after the main leader snapped in high winds. This is to prevent a high-risk situation at the entrance footpath to Lidl Supermarket.

Proposal as recorded

T1 Hybrid Weeping Willow; Main leader snapped out in high winds (see photograph) This raises concerns over its structural integrity as the wind dynamics has now changed within the canopy resulting in additional wind load .As some of the large limbs overhanging the entrance footpath to Lidl and as its a busy supermarket I think it's prudent to cut the remaining branches back to 1m from the stem to avoid a high risk situation every time high winds are forecast. TPO 220W.
