Application to fell a deceased Silver Birch (TPO Reference no.24) due to it being a threat to life and property. A replacement Eucalyptus tree (6-7ft) will be planted by Spring 2026 in a new position.

Proposal as recorded

Silver Birch (TPO Reference no.24) to be felled as the tree is deceased. We have sought advice from Cheshire Trees, NPTC qualified team of tree surgeons and skilled arborists who have confirmed that the tree is dead and is a threat to life and property so needs removing. Replacement tree (1) to be planted by Spring 2026 - Eucalyptus 6-7ft and in marked position (NEW). Whilst we will have the roots ground out there is a wall around the tree and therefore full excavation will not be possible. The advice we?ve received is not to plant a new tree in that same position due to the extent of the roots and therefore the chances of successfully establishing is relatively low. TPO number 96W HAR/CA26
