Plan to reduce the height of a row of sycamore trees to previous pruning points to allow more light into the property.
Proposal as recorded
G1 Sycamores - Reduce the row of trees (in height) identified by s2 on sketch plan to previous pruning points as has been done on these trees for the entire time that they have lived at this property. The reason for this is to allow direct light into the south facing aspect of their property. They recognise that in order to allow direct light into their garden they would need to reduce the sycamores more significantly which they have been persuaded against. The trees are in good health and have been pruned back to the same unions on a regular basis for the last 20 years and they would like to continue to do so to keep the height in check (at cost to them) because they value the trees. In terms of the reduction we would like to reduce the new growth which is approximately 2.5m
