Plan to remove a large Ash tree in the passageway behind the terraced houses on Rooms Lane due to early signs of Ash Dieback and safety concerns.
Proposal as recorded
T1 Large Ash - To be removed in the passageway behind the terraced houses on Rooms Lane. Disposal and removal of x1 large Ash tree. Stump to be cut as low to floor as possible and cross cut Reasons: Ash tree is showing early signs of Ash Dieback and beginning to shed limbs - which is causing risk to property and persons (particularly given its position within a public walkway). On the above, the tree also overhangs our garden and is constantly dropping limbs, leaving it unsafe for my children to be outside at times where there is even a slight breeze due to falling debris. The roots are lifting the flagged area around the Ash tree which is causing a risk to those walking through the walkway.
