Full Proposal

To carry out work to an Acer pseudplatanus at the castle as a result of a recent tree safety inspection carried out for us, the inspectors notes are below - 3012 - Acer pseudoplatanus - Healthy overall. Tree remains on pronounced lean toward footpath due to shading from adjacent sycamore. Risk to integrity of historic banking considered as tree increases in size. As vitality is high, crown management via weight reduction may be sensible, allowing maintenance of a smaller tree going forwards. Although not urgent, pragmatic intervention via 40% reduction would be justified in order to preserve the tree and castle banking. Works within 3yrs reasonable.
