Tree works are proposed for a beech and a Corsican pine at Pulpit Rock in Ventnor.

The proposed works include raising and reducing the crown of the beech over the driveway and pruning lower secondary limbs from the pine.

T1; Beech - Raise crown over driveway up to 4m in height and reduce spread over driveway by circe 2m by removing selected secondary branches back to large growth positions.Reason: To reduce future nuisance.T2; Corcican Pine - Large twin forked crown with one heavily extending to the south. Reduce weight from heavily extending lower crown limb by removing 3 secondary extended limbs (see attached photo).Reason: Sound management for future safety.
