Works are proposed to trees protected by a tree preservation order, involving the reduction in height of two ash trees and the removal and raising of branches on a mature willow.

Full Proposal

Undertake the following works to trees covered by A6 of Tree Preservation Order number DFTPO 179. Reduce 2 x Ash trees in rear garden to approximately 10 metres in height to alleviate wind loading and end weight due to infection with Ash Dieback disease and presence of bracket fungi at the base. Leave the radial spread no less than 3 metres and maintain as much of the new lower canopy as possible. Mature Willow to right hand side of garden when facing away from the house, remove the low branch growing towards the house and follow around the canopy raising the remainder to this height.
