Listed Building Consent for the formation of new rear door and associated lobby, new porch to existing east door; insertion of five new windows in new openings and alteration to one existing window; insertion of one new rooflight and one new access rooflight; internal alterations to include: insertion of new half glazed door to staircase hall; creation of new wc; reconstruction of steps in south hall in stone to match existing floor and insertion of elliptical arch with responds (to accommodate bathroom drainage); old stone floor to be restored following removal of vinyl tiles and asphalt; replacement of 1930s fireplace in library with period surround; creation of kitchen by removal of modern partitions; replacement of floor with new insulated concrete floor and finish; exposure of moulded ceiling joists by taking down plasterboard ceiling; creation of dining/sitting room by removal of stud wall; replacement of floor with new insulated concrete floor with engineered board finish; exposure of moulded ceiling joists by taking down plasterboard ceiling; relocation of three internal panel doors to facilitate replanning described above; removal of internal partition to combine existing bathroom and WC and repositioning of bathroom door; removal of airing cupboard to allow insertion of new window; relocation of doors to bedrooms one and two and insertion of new laylight on upper landing; closing up existing door to create ensuite shower room and relocation of door to new doorway from bedroom 1 to new shower room; formation of built-in wardrobes in bedroom 2 and insertion of new cornice; alterations to former bedroom 5 to form bathroom to bedroom 4
