Highways improvement works comprising the reconfiguration of the existing B1050 roundabout, including amendments to the carriageway and approach arms, the realignment and widening of carriageways, and the provision of new and reconfigured splitter islands, formation of part of the spine road to facilitate access into the Northstowe Phase 3B site, together with the installation of new kerb lines and edge alignments to replace the existing highway layout, new highway lighting columns, extension of the existing footpath on the northern side of the B1050, new pedestrian toucan crossing over the B1050, as well as additional landscaping works, including the creation of new grassed verges.
